Do you prefer coke or pepsi, and or why?

Mexican coke in a glass bottle for sure! But I'll definitely take coke over pepsi. Pepsi tastes like medicine, and if you don't drink it all within an hour of opening it, it goes completely flat.

Evry country has a slightly different recipe for CocaCola. It's not a huge difference, but when you're a coke snob like me, it's pretty noticeable.
Mmmm those Mexican cokes are pretty awesome! And mmmm cherry coke too! i like pepsi though, so i really dont have a preference. As well as I like wild cherry pepsi, mmmmmm! But I cant live without my docctor pepper, so yeah, it's tough.
I don't drink soda anymore. But if I did, I'd go with coke. It sure does taste a lot better. Though none of this crap is salubrious.

We have a soda shop here in the Phoenix area that specializes in sodas from around the world. I love Mexican Coke for two reasons. First, it just tastes better and lighter than coke in a can. Second, it's made with real sugar cain, not high fructos corn syrup. Believe it or not, sugar cain is better for you than the HFC. Your body can metabolize sugar better, and it's even less harmful to your teeth. But my favorite soda ever has got to be Guarana Antarctica! It's a Brazilian soda made with sugar and Guarana berry extract. It's a stimulant more potent than caffeine, but with no nasty side affects. Not to mention, the taste is amazing. It's not easy to put into words, but it is very light feeling, and after drinking it, you actually feel refreshed. Those in the Boston area can go to the Brazilian food shops around and find it. In LA, it's at the Marcado Buenos Aires. Otherwise, you might look here.

I like Coke and Pepsi. I've never tried Wild Cherry Pepsi, nor Vanilla Pepsi. I've had Vanilla Coke and Cherry coke, all of them are good.

use to like pepsi before when my sister was working with pepsi, after than, after my sister brought back cartens of pepsi every month, got sick of it, and turn my taste to coke specially vanilla Coke. if i have my way it will be rude beer the best. but as i'm not an soda addict, don't really bother me any kind of soda
I think they all taste the same really. I can't seem to taste the difference between coke and pepsi. Then again, some people say I'm just weird like that.
I prefer Coke. Pepsi tasstes flat. Coke however has a very interesting taste.
oh yes for any diet soda like coke or pepsi, put a twist of lelmon in it. it cuts that icky taste they have. pepsy does not taste like medicine. it tastes like heaven in a glass

Original Coke all the way baby. Why mess with a good thing. As for diet cola products, I prefer diet pepsi. RC cola is good in its own way, but, you don't see it around much. It's sort of the black sheep of the cola family. I don't drink a lot of soda anymore, but, there's my two shillings in any case.
I'd rather have either Pepsi or Dr. Pepper. Pepsi is always my first choice.
Actually I like them both.. I think they're both delicious, but if I had to choose I'd probably stick with coke because coke seems to have more flavor. I miss the cokes in a glass bottle.. I can't seem to find them hardly anywhere.. the last time I had one I was in Mexico which was about 6 years ago.

for me, it's coke 100%! i love love love love coke! it tastes sooo delicious! pepsi just tastes like imitation coke. Dr. Pepper is great, too. and as for root beer, that stuff is just nasty.

I absolutely love Coke. I like Pepsi too. I really like the acidic taste of Coke. I love soda, so will drink almost any kind except Diet. I have to be extremely desperate to drink that stuff. I hate that crappy aspartame taste.
pepsi all the way. the only coke I love is the Mexican kind in bottles. been ages since I've had it...but I love it.
I don't dislike Pepsi but I certainly prefer Coca-Cola. It just has a certain taste that I don't feel any other soda has duplicated.

Might as well fill you in on the differences between british and american pepsi recipes.
British pepsi, I find, seems to be sweeter than american pepsi. It has a much stronger taste (not rola cola) and seems fizzier.
As you might have guessed from the message above, I prefer pepsi to coke, it is more refreshing, seems to chill better, is sweeter, fizzier and contains less callories than coke.
As far as the diet alternatives go, i generally choose pepsi max (yes, I know it's got more caffine) than diet pepsi, diet coke or coke zero. Coke zero tastes like carbonated sweetened cough medicine, all in a can.

However, the winner of the fizzy drinks contest has got to go with doctor pepper. Unless it's all shot out of the bottle, it is probably the fizziest around.
